2016 NFL Week 2 Betting Guide

Sports bettors are excited now that the 2016 NFL regular season is now underway. Now that teams have shown their talents in week 1, sports betting enthusiasts now have a better idea of what to look for when they are evaluating betting picks for week 2 of the 2016 NFL season.

2016 NFL Week 2 Betting Guide

Here are a few bets that you should consider this weekend:

Ravens vs. Browns

The Browns sustained several injuries in week 1 including an injury to starting quarterback Robert Griffin III. The Raven’s defense stopped a talented Buffalo Bills offense in week 2. The Ravens should have no problem against the Browns in week 2.

49ers vs. Panthers

The betting line that sticks out in this game is the +14 point spread being given the 49ers. The 49ers defense shut down an inept Los Angeles Rams offense last week, so it’s fair to say the 49ers likely won’t have the same level of success against the Panthers. That being said, the Panthers have issues at running back, which could play into the favor of the 49ers in terms of beating the spread.

Texans vs. Chiefs

The Texans and the Chiefs will square off in what looks to be a battle of game managers. The Texans defense may have a slight edge on the Texans, which is why many sports bettors are picking the Texans to win this game.
